An advertisement is flashing big these days on the idiot box and it’s certainly all about speed. In this ad, there is a challenge between two teams in respect to who has the faster connectivity to the online world. Undoubtedly, the Airtel 4G network wins.
While the 4G euphoria has been in the air for quite a while with the impending 4G launch by Reliance Jio, Airtel surprised everyone with an early launch of the 4G network with its nationwide rollout. Airtel 4G is the first telecom operator to roll out 4G services and it has rolled out the services across 296 cities.
Airtel has also made its challenge open for being the fastest network, and if one can prove otherwise, he has to no longer care for the mobile bills for the rest of the lifetime. However, this lucrative offer may not get a winner, since it certainly offers the services at a much faster speed.
One of my colleagues had already got his sim replaced with a 4G sim through Airtel store and while we were testing the 4G services, it was really as claimed. The internet was running faster than even #UsainBolt. We had tried watching a YouTube video and even while we keep on getting buffering on normal broadband, our video experience was totally buffer free. The trial was then tested on another HD YouTube video, therefore extending the expectations much more. Thankfully, the expectations were worth it and we were not disappointed. The video was still a ‘buffer-free’ watch. And the icing on the cake is that the 4G is currently available at 3G prices. So, no additional burden on the pocket too.
Since I too use Airtel services, I am highly inclined to use the faster data services. With faster data services, of course, I am able to view videos seamlessly, catch the news much faster than the world. Gone are the days when the tagline used to be ‘Sabse Tez’ for a news channel, obviously Airtel has taken over the tagline now. Also, with all the latest connectivity for the new network, I have been told that the network also works really well in the Delhi Metro underground lines. So, we can now utilise the ride time in the metro in a much more varied ways.
I was further impressed by the way Airtel is trying to penetrate into the market by introducing the 4G sim request through just a tweet. SO, we can say, the new Airtel 4G is just a tweet away. All one needs to do is tweet #GetAirtel4G and the sim shall be delivered right at the doorstep.
I’ve just tweeted for the 4G SIM. Might be already on it’s way.
