Chandrayaan-2 Mission was launched on 22th June 2019. The launch activities were expected to culminate with the soft-landing of the ‘Vikram’ lander on the surface of the Moon on 7th September 2019. With such landing, India would have been the fourth nation to touch Moon’s surface and first one to touch it near the South Pole, an unexplored territory so far. However, just 2.1 kms from the surface, the connection between the ‘Vikram’ lander and ISRO’s Control Center in India was lost and since then, there has been no data transmission and the fate of the lander stays unknown.

While Moon was seen as the one who ditched Chandrayaan at the last moment, this secret conversation revealed a different story.

मैं तो खुद चाहता था विक्रम को गले लगाना,
ना इलज़ाम तू भी हम पर बेवफाई का लगाना,
नज़रें बिछाए रखेंगे हम भी तेरी राहों पे,
